Portrait Session | Kai Kuyi Chen
Many of my clients are good friends and near family members before we ever do the business of photography. Kai’s mom is no exception. Ying was my co-worker and partner in crime working in our business unit at InVue Security Products.
She has moved on to a new opportunity in a new city but we remain great friends and I’ve had the opportunity to have several session with her.
This was the third session I’ve done with Ying and her daughter Kai, but this one was quite different. Kai needed a full portfolio of images for her budding modeling career and I was more than willing and excited to help her with this.
As I always do with my client I asked Kai to lay out her many looks and send them to me so we could talk through each of them and plan out a suitable location in Uptown Charlotte to capture the look she needed.
With outfits and location locked in, we met in Uptown Charlotte and made the magic happen. Kai is so professional and absolutely artistic in front of the camera! Check out some of her most stunning images from that shoot.
