Portrait Session | INTRO Model - Iulia Guinn
I’ve had to pleasure of working with one of Charlotte’s premier modeling agencies - INTRO Talent & Branding Agency. I serve as a contract photographer on the team doing portfolio building sessions in Uptown Charlotte for newly signed talent. My 3 years with Alicia and the rest of the team has given my modeling portraits portfolio a much needed boost with dozens of sessions under my belt.
Iulia Guinn is the office manager and works extremely hard holding down all of the various aspects of running the Charlotte office - booking, scheduling, review of images and much more. She is truly a boss! She is also an accomplished model and takes absolutely stunning images. She stays quite busy in her off time doing creative shoots with photographers in the area.
I jokingly told her that I was quite jealous that she was making all these amazing images with other photographers and I had not had the pleasure of her presence in front of my camera. She graciously agreed to rectify that quickly and we started planning for a creative shoot. Uptown is such an amazing location for just about any kind of creative shoot and we decided to start high on a rooftop and capture the skyline.
Then we made our way down to street level and moved on to the Grand Bohemian Hotel courtyard. I almost exclusively shoot with a strobe flash and large modifier but decided to challenge myself and shoot natural light. I was blessed both on the rooftop and in the courtyard with beautiful light reflecting off the buildings giving me plenty to work with and create these beautiful images.
Iulia is an absolute pro in front of the camera so making these images came so easily! She is an amazing model and I can’t wait to get her in front of my camera again!
